Taliban arent Wahabi. Two different things. I'll be happy to be corrected. Very closely related -- I might have said Sunni extremists.
A Norwegian once told me that the Swedes are a very inventive people. Why, it was a Swede, long, long ago, who invented the outhouse latrine.

The Taliban started as a Sunni-Islamic movement in Afghan refugee camps in Pakistan in 1996. It was stared with Saudi money and by 1997 Al Qaeda fighters were welcomed to form the backbone of their army.
