Armed Man Arrested At Airport As Obama Leaves Authorities: Ohio man spotted with handgun as Air Force One departs
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - An Ohio man has been charged after authorities spotted him with a gun in a North Carolina airport parking lot as Air Force One was departing Sunday afternoon.
Joseph McVey, 23, is charged with going armed in terror of the public, a misdemeanor, said Asheville Regional Airport Police Capt. Kevan Smith. Airport police saw McVey get out of a car about 2 p.m. in the rental car return lot and he had a gun, Smith said. He was taken into custody immediately and was being held at the Buncombe County jail.
Security was heightened at the airport because President Barack Obama was leaving after vacationing in the state, headed to the memorial service for the 29 West Virginia coal miners killed in an explosion. The suspect was nowhere near the president's plane and was in a public area. Obama also visited 91-year-old evangelist Billy Graham's home after spending the weekend in Asheville.
McVey's car had strobe lights like a police car might, but the suspect is not in law enforcement, said Smith.

McVey??
interesting. *sniff*
Something about this seems way blown out of proportion.....
A rental car with strobes? And he was carrying a gun?
Uh, maybe he was hunter.
Obama’s going on vacation, again. . .?
Let me guess....by tomorrow, there will be a photo-shopped picture of him attending a Tea Party
My thought exactly...say what?
and his name is McVey?
It's like I couldn't make this up if I tried.
"What the heck is that?!"
It's like "double-secret probation"
Typical progressives, and their typical reading disability.
It's "Shall NOT" be infringed!
Oh, well, 60+ years and they still can't see the second word in Nazi either!
I’d also like to know what kind of rental car comes equipped with police lights.
Holding a nazi flag.........
6. Going Armed To The Terror Of The People
By common law in North Carolina, it is unlawful for a person to arm himself/herself with any unusual and dangerous weapon, for the purpose of terrifying others, and go about on public highways in a manner to cause terror to others. The N.C. Supreme Court states that any gun is an unusual and dangerous weapon for purposes of this offense. Therefore, persons are cautioned as to the areas they frequent with firearms.
NC version of walking on the wrong side of the street. They him locked until in the morning on a 100k bond. That said, the Secret Service and the local police have till about 10am to come up with some real charges or he walks at the arraignment. no way this flies in front of a Judge.
I propose that only part of the story is being reported here.

Choose any car?
You can't be serious!!
The very nerve of him imposing on Rev Graham after the way Rev Franklin Graham was treated by this administration . . His coarse attempt to insinuate himself as someone worthy of associating with Reverend Graham is a study in contrasts to be long remembered .
