Maybe its just me, but does anyone else see the irony in the juxtaposition of these two protest signs outside of an appearance by Sarah Palin in Eugene, Oregon?
Its a darned good thing that the person holding the sign that says, Hope she chokes (with the Obama logo a nice touch, by the way) is doing so in Eugenes hate-free zone. Why, if someone had displayed a sign at a Tea Party rally that said something about our President choking, it would have been declared a symptom of the violence inherent in the conservative system, with apologies to Dennis the Peasant.

The same people a few years ago.
Oh, my eyes!!! What has been seen can never be unseen!
“Liberalism is a mental disorder, I am convinced”
I am convinced of the same. What I don’t understand is this; Since these people obviously hate America so much, why don’t they just leave and relocate to one of their socialist utopias?
“why dont they just leave and relocate to one of their socialist utopias?”
They might lose access to their trust fund money!/s
Dude!
That’s just wrong in too many ways!
"...Since these people obviously hate America so much, why dont they just leave and relocate to one of their socialist utopias?..."
Because it requires OTHER people's money, and there ain't NO better place on earth right now to get that than right here in the good ol' USA.
Sad but true...
Besides, liberal utopias are like pyramid schemes, you have to be in at the ground level to take advantage of it. Everywhere ELSE there have been socialist governments, those who set it up took their booty and ran for it.
Kind of like being a coal, steel or auto industry union executive in this country. Get there early, bankrupt the industry, take your earnings and run to some other industry, leaving the suckers in your wake.
Isn't it, though.
I post this picture whenever I can. It is terrible to see our OWN citizens do this, but I am convinced, to see it is the same as seeing the Daniel Pearl beheading video, or seeing the images of people jumping from the WTC. (not in the same scope, but in the way it solidifies one's stance against a particular thing)
I admit that picture hardens my heart. But I think that is what is needed in this country.
Yep. That is the way it is today. If you go to the Eugene Saturday Market, it is just like going to Haight and Ashbury in the late 60’s or early 70’s.
Ugh. I wasn’t there to see that, but I understand it completely. Not a pretty picture.
“Because it requires OTHER people’s money, and there ain’t NO better place on earth right now to get that than right here in the good ol’ USA.”
rl - You’re right. And we’re all fed up with supporting these loosers! Just looked @ your info page...I’m a USAF brat:)
smoking - It is wrong but on the part of the freaks participating! I can’t believe I’m going to say this but here goes.....I wish the flames would have flared up and burned his bare white a**!!!!! P.S. I just love you Texans:)
Pretty darned funny!
I think it is a mental disorder too.
“Because it requires OTHER people’s money, and there ain’t NO better place on earth right now to get that than right here in the good ol’ USA.”
“Besides, liberal utopias are like pyramid schemes, you have to be in at the ground level to take advantage of it”
I got to thinking about your true statements and have a plan. These people are obviously too, “out of it” to realize that you have to get in @ ground level in liberal utopias. So, we give them all a one way ticket to whatever socialist paradise their heart desires, with the stipulation that they renounce their American citizenship.
It will be much cheaper than feeding, housing, and clothing them.
I am going to say this and then no more. Many year’s ago when a bunch of us young cowboy’s would come in after a mission or as we called it a walk in the wood’s we would look for those Star’s & Bar’s because that meant Home and I will never forget that feeling.
Now for this punk in the picture he is very lucky because if I had been there to witness this as the saying goes there would be 1 in jail and 1 in hell, at least I would be eating 3 squares a day.
Grew up in Eugene, the only surprise is the few number that showed up. Liberalism is filled w/hatred.
Pray for America
The last two concert events we went to in Eugene there was allot of teen/twentyish kids loitering and the strong odor of pot burning in the air around the event (walking to/from).
LOL That wouldnt fly here where we live.
I thought about clinging bitterly having worked so hard to move out of the Eugene area.
Bet free tickets to see Sarah could not have brought him back up north.
Hope he is doing well in his new home.
