Granholm Says Shes on Obamas Short List April 25, 2010 by: Lee Ross
Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm (D) says shes once again on President Obamas short list for appointment to the Supreme Court. In an interview with CNN, the term-limited governor says she has talked with people in the Obama administration about the upcoming nomination to replace retiring Justice John Paul Stevens.
It's a great honor to be on -- considered on the list, said Granholm who went through this process last year with the opening that went to Sonia Sotomayor. She did not say if shes spoken with the President who Fox News reported this past week held informal discussions with some of the people hes considering.
Granholm, like Obama, holds a law degree from Harvard and appeals to some people who want the President to pick someone who is not currently serving as a federal appellate court judge. All nine members of the current Court were federal appellate judges before their elevation to the high court.
Granholm shares that interest saying, I think it's a very wise move to consider experience that is not just from the judicial monastery because -- I mean not just me but Janet Napolitano, people that have applied the laws that Congress enacts, that have seen their impact on people, that -- you know, I mean I'm from the most challenged state in the country. And, you know, for somebody to experience and see what everyday people are feeling and experiencing out there, I think is an important thing to consider.

You have got to be kidding me.
ohme gud.
I just threw up a little in my mind.
Why not Helen Thomas, Obie?
Granholm, like the Kenyan, is not a natural citizen.
Well at least she is better looking than Ginsburg...
I can’t stand that woman, yuck.
Yes, I can see that she probably was very pretty when younger.
Must be that pixie-cute smile.
Jennifer Granholm was born in Canada, at the age of 4 her family immigrated to the Us. How can she be a Supreme Court Justice - she is not a natural born citizen of The US. Both parents were Britisn nationals. If anything she has become a naturalized citizen of the US. This is nuts, but this is part of the Obama and Chicago Elite Agenda - Natural Born Citizenship should not be a requirement - this is the uS and it is to lead the New World Order through the auspices of the UN.
Watch the other jealous women react.
Constitution requires “natural born citizen” for US President not federal judges.
Here in Michigan we just call her “Moleface”.
[Here in Michigan we just call her Moleface.]
LOLOLOL I ‘almost’ mentioned that but was being ‘nice’!!
Strange she doesn’t have that removed because ‘that’ is what draws your attention.
- still laughing - -
Uncle Buck.
“Take this quarter, go downtown, and have a rat gnaw that thing off your face! Good day to you, madam.”
I think he’s hypnotized!
- or seeing a mountain of a molehill!
She’s trying to win an awart.
Checked on Supreme Court Justices - they can be a naturalized citizen - O boy what a mess if she becomes a judge - another bleeding heart liberal educated at Harvard. She will aid in the destruction of the Us like she did in the destruction of Michigan. Guess what she blames Engler(Republican governor) for destroying Michigan.
Please, please do not support this mess to become a justice. Here in Michigan we want here to just leave and go back to California, where she immigrated to and became a naturalized citizen in 1980.
I’ve forgotten what series that was!
With Jennifer, the abortion issue will be a moot point since she is covered in the blood of innocent slaughtered-live unborn. I wonder, is Barry obliquely giving the Constitution another peeing on, since—IIRC—Jennifer is from Canada?
If you look closely, the mole is in the shape of a maple leaf, and I've heard if you press it it plays "O Canada"
