Sounds like racial profiling to me. Just cuz you find 67 people in a van doesn’t give you the right to challenge their immigration status. Were their civil rights violated?

Exactly. To make up for this, I think they should give them free health care, housing subsidies, their children free schooling, food stamps, other welfare funds... and then amnesty.

Oh wait...

Nevermind.

why does it have to be racial profiling? how about the fact that there are ILLEGAL immigrants in the back of this truck. I’m sure if you spotted 67 people in the back of a truck so close to the Mexican border you would probably be inclined to ask for proof of citizenship. there is no way in God’s green earth that the people in the back of this truck were “celebrating their diversity.” Don’t try and make something this OK for people to do. Just because the government wants to control immigration doesn’t make them racist. People these days need to grow up stop trying to make everything into some sort of crime its life. If you come here illegally you will get caught people try to say that America is racist because we don’t allow illegal immigration. If i tried to sneak into Canada or Mexico the same exact charges would be pressed on me. I am a white male. Don’t make something that is simple into some complex conspiracy. Grow up.
