Pilots prayer recorded on Smolensk crash black box
Apr 20, 2010 13:02 Moscow Time
The flight recorders of the Polish Presidents plane registered the prayer of the pilot before the Tu-154 crashed near Smolensk on April 10th killing 96 people on board. The Prosecutor General of Poland pledged to release all recordings of the pilots conversations. Two of the three black boxes from the presidential plane have already been deciphered and voice recordings of the third one are marred by noise and the information needs to be restored. Meanwhile, Polish experts are expected to arrive in Moscow to help identify the voices of the crew members. The content of the black boxes is to be made public on April 22nd.
I checked again - I was incorrect. They do have 3 and 3 instead of 2 and 2 on the main gear.
Here is the video with the sound like gunshots (wheels visible starting at 0:09, yelling starts a 0:44, shot sounds start at 0:57)

Here is a video of the Polish plane crash (wheels visible at 0:12)

The wheels are distinctive, and they match, so the first video is indeed the Polish plane crash. The yelling and the shot sounds seem to go together, but it could be warning shots fired at looters/trespassers.
That video is weird. Someone in the comments below was translating it. Something doesn’t seem all right. I believe the video as genuine, but what about the authorities in the photo? The shots, the possible things they said?
There is a “deshaked” version of the video, available in 720p resolution here:

So the landing gear in that video is consistent with a Tu-154. The crash area looks roughly similar and the video does appear foggy.
I thought the shots could also be ammo from body guards on the plane cooking off. But the few rounds I’ve heard cook off did not sound like a gunshot.
Bump.
