PHOENIX (AP) -- Arodi Berrelleza isn't one of the targets of Arizona's new law cracking down on illegal immigration - he's a U.S. citizen, a high school student from Phoenix.
But the 18-year-old said he's afraid he'll be arrested anyway if police see him driving around with friends and relatives, some of them illegal immigrants.

Then go back to mexico..problem solved
When the number of hispanic illegals is reduced to the point where it is on par with the number of chinese, russian, irish, etc illegals, then we’ll talk.

You’re breaking my heart here. Too damn bad. Breaking the law has consequences.
Hang around with criminals, you should expect to get hassled.
Don’t pack 40 people in a van and you’ll be fine.
Just show a valid ID and you'll be fine. As for the illegals you're hauling around, bid them adios.
I think we’ll see this law enforced when an illegal rams his car into someone, drunker than a Kennedy, is incoherent in Spanish, and has no English skills.
It is ridiculous to imagine that everyone with brown skin in Arizona is suddenly under surveillance. Crime by Mexican nationals in some parts of AZ is at third world levels. They have to do something to enforce immigration law. This is a good start and we should write our local newspapers to take a bite out of the racist’s claims that enforcing the law is racist.
People who are citizens of the U.S. should not have any problems with this law.
It takes a birth certificate to get a drivers license. (That is why it is so damned wrong that illegal aliens in some states can get a drivers license without showing a BC). I know that for a fact, as in Wasthington state I witnessed such an issuance. The man couldn’t even speak English - he had brought a small child along to act as an interpreter!
I’m pretty sure the cops can throw in a check of a little, gray-haired old lady or two to put these idiots at ease.
Well Arodi -- it's time to get some legal friends. Stop hanging around with criminals lest their behavior will rub off on you !!
Profiling?
Hey Mack, you either have a green card, a visa, or nothing.
So nothings go home. That is a very good thing.
Profile this!
Why, why...I might have to show them a valid ID to prove I'm not and that is really inconvenient.
“...if police see him driving around with friends and relatives, some of them illegal immigrants...” That’s right! You help an ILLEGAL, you are guilty of a crime! The next move is yours, A-H-LE!
Illegals should be afraid...very afraid.
mexico isnt a country..mexican isnt a race.
Or just move the relatives back.
my understanding of this law was that they could check your papers if they already had a valid reason for stopping you as in you are arrested for a real crime....have I got this wrong?
