U.S. Sen. Scott Brown is ruling out a presidential run in 2012 and spurning Tea Partiers by throwing his support - for now, anyway - behind former Bay State Gov. Mitt Romney over conservative darling Sarah Palin.
Absolutely 2012, Im ruling that out, Brown said yesterday on NBCs Today show.
Brown said former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is qualified for the presidency, but said hes sticking with Romney - while keeping his options open.

It was good that he got in vs Coakley but he’s a full fledged rino in training.

Scott Brown is an idiot. But so is Romney. Abortionist political whores both.

Yes, it looks that way. Too bad. He could have done some great things.
When he said he wanted health care reform, but modeled after the Massachusetts plan, he lost me.

Jeez, at least keep the rats guessing for a little while longer Brown you idiot. Mitt’s sure gunning for the nomination. One little roadblock in glasses though stands in his way.
Palin 2012.

I have no problem with this guy. He is who he said he was. He is as conservative as can be elected in MA.

It was good that he got in vs Coakley but hes a full fledged rino in training. Geez, the guy won a GOP Senate seat in friggin' Massachusetts and he's busted on the chops for not being Jim DeMint?
He is going to have to trim his sails here and there in order to retain that seat. So far he's done that with no real damage to the conservative cause.
If Brown raises any ire, redirect it instead to Lindsey Graham. He goes RINO for no apparent reason, and directly against his South Carolinian constituents.

Brown is just being consistent. Of course he still supports Romney. I bet Romney still supports him.
I guess a lot of people wanted him to be something that he never claimed to be.

The only idiots on this thread are the ones calling Brown an idiot. I'd like to see them get any kind of Republican into that seat in Massachusetts.
Of course what so many are biting their tongues over is calling him an idiot for supporting Romney. These same people think there's absolutely nothing wrong with Palin supporting McCain. But that's different...

I knew what he was before he was elected. There were folks here calling for him to run for the presidency they were so excited. Frankly, I hope a Mass conservative knocks him off next time out.

She was his VP choice. What the heck was she supposed to do? Say, “Don’t vote for John McCain, my running mate, for President.”? What a stupid, stupid thing to write. Geez.

Romney is just horrible. He won’t help repeal the health care mandates. The TP movement is very constitutionally minded and will soundly reject this Progressive.
We won’t take orders this time from the msm and get someone more liberal than McLame.
Brown’s answer is just to blow with the wind.

You've invented an entire situation I didn't suggest and then said it was "stupid".
That's stupid squared. And you wrote it.

He is a good looking, young, dynamic, articulate Republican, but he is no conservative. We really should be able to find a better presidential candidate.
Would Steve King have a chance at the nomination?

One little roadblock in glasses though stands in his way. Palin 2012.
That, and the lead-weighted albatross known as RomneyCare.
