Pentagon is not in DC. It is in northern Virginia, on property that belonged to the Lee family before the late unpleasantness between the states.

Still, if it’s in daily commuting range, it’s too close. Contamination of the DC sort is virulent.
The problem is the contamination goes all the way to Guam, Hawaii, Texas, Florida, Maine, Alaska, ...
