This sounds like the same hedging that we heard before the big push for Obamacare...

Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina seems to be the only GOP senator on board, but he has told Democrats they will lose his support unless they find another Republican.I think we should start a petition to force this guy to switch parties. I'd rather lose the 41st vote than have this idiot constantly acting like the regime has "Republican support."
Look at Specter Senator Graham, therein lies your future.

I can’t see Blanche Lincoln coming on board on this even with her chicken plants needing slave labor. Not an election year.

Don’t be lulled into inaction — let your elected representatives at the federal and state level hear your opposition to immigration laws allowing amnesty, open borders, anchor babies and free health care or secondary education for illegals.

Funny how Old Harry thinks he is so indispensable, he'll push this crap to the detriment of other RATs in the party. Doesn't he realize he merely replaced a turd bird as senate party leader (Tom Daschle) and anther turd bird can just as easily replace him if he follows little Tommy into electoral defeat?

If if it’s one thing we learned with Obama care, lack of votes won’t stop them. They’ll just game the system.

One big reason for the immigration reform push, sources say, is that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is in a brutal battle to win re-election in Nevada, where a quarter of the population is Hispanic and he has promised to try. How many of these 25% can/will vote?

I sure hope it stays that way, but I’m sure a few greased palms will alter the picture at least a little...

ANY, repeat ANY, elected official for whom I might have the opportunity to vote who even makes a concilatory remark about amnesty, path to citizenship, immigration reform, etc. has lost my vote FOREVER...it is the paramount issue for me outside of seeing the pRESIDENT defeated, failed and humiliated forever.

It would be nice if Congress put the interests of U.S. citizens on the same level as it puts the interests of people who are in this country illegally.
