Just like the current governor.
WOW!
Never saw that commin’........
Because of all the campaign finance reform, the only viable candidates in big states are the ones who can bankroll their own campaigns. As a result all of our leaders are billionaires pretending to be common folk. Whitman and Fiorina are literally buying their offices. I won’t vote for either of them. Not in the primaries and not in the general.
We need a new way of electing leaders for this republic.
The current system is broken due to expense.
In the same way as a grass roots whispering campaign can accomplish spreading a message just as well as big money spent on an ad campaign, so there’s just got to be a way for leaders to come from the grassroots up rather from the top down.
Do you hold your vote to be so sacred that you won't cast it for imperfect candidates yet so meaningless that your not casting it won't effect the outcome?!
If, because of just this kind of attitude, California re-re-elects Gov. Moonbeam and, once again, can't un-elect the dumbest senator we've ever sent, I will move to Outer Mongolia!
I would move. CA is finished.
ping
Ouch.
Anyway, I believe that Boxer will lose this time.
Oh, you know she will. The President has campaigned for her. It’s all over. Why the dickens isn’t he campaigning for Arlen Specter?!
I have spent My entire 50 years in Ca.
I’m moving. CA is finished.
The end came in 1995 when prop 187 (approved by voters 59% to 41%) was overruled by the courts.
Its crazy to think Whitman would have anything in common with a Boxer or a Pelosi. Whitman believes in all the workings of law, free markets and self responsibility.
California needs the mind of a Whitman. I had always hoped a McClintock would be that person but he was not electable for this position in the popularity state. This year I will have to look past the social political issues for my state because FISCAL BUSINESS minds are needed so much more.
Whitman is not an “imperfect candidate” she is a democrat.
California is dead it’s in the worm food stage now.
Well, we have to vote for one of them or risk Governor Moonbeam Part Deux. At least Whitman didn’t blame someone else.
Let me put you down for 1 vote each for Babs and Moonbeam.
FWIW, I will not cast a vote for any candidate who is not pro-life.
It seems strange to me, an Ohioan, watching Californians who've been burned badly by the "lesser of two evils" argument time and again, with Arnold being a huge centerpiece, still spouting that mindless drivel.
As in the rest of the country, but especially in Calif, it seems that the voters really do need an alternative.
