subject: I'm Prepared to Fight
Your urgent action is needed.
I'm fighting back against my opponent's attacks. But I need your immediate support to fund our new radio and TV ads to set the record straight.
Make a contribution before our April 30th deadline.
My Friend,
I often say I love a good fight, and I have spent much of my life advocating the causes I believe in. I've fought for job creation, lower taxes and a strong national defense. I've fought against pork-barrel spending, wasteful earmarks, sky-high deficits and the disastrous Obamacare bill. And at the end of the day, I will always fight for what is best for the country I so deeply love.
But, today, my ability to fight for our country and the values we share is in jeopardy. I am in the middle of the toughest reelection battle I have ever faced. My opponent is aggressively raising funds to run ads attacking my record of service and dedication to our country.
I will not stand for these attacks and will respond to them swiftly with your support. Our campaign will make our next purchase of radio and television ads by April 30th and I once again need your help. An immediate donation of any amount will enable me to fight back against these attacks.
I am determined to return to the Senate to continue fighting against the massive expansion of government under President Obama. Last week, I authored a resolution that overwhelmingly passed the Senate against the massive Value Added Tax (VAT Tax). This tax would cripple families on fixed incomes and push back America's economic recovery. With the economy in such bad shape, we should be cutting tax rates to spur job creation and economic growth. The Left's push for increased taxes is only one example of the constant battles I fight day-in and day-out on behalf of our shared values.
I'm ready to fight these battles, but I need your immediate support as I expand my campaign for reelection. We are days away from our April 30th deadline and your urgent donation is needed as our campaign efforts expand. This is why I ask that you make a generous contribution of $25, $50, $100 or even $250 right away.
As a public servant, I have taken an oath to "preserve and protect" our country and our constitution and I plan to do so with your support.
I have never taken any election for granted, and I would not be writing to you if urgent action on your part were not needed. So, please take a moment to follow this link and make a generous donation of whatever you can give today to help us reach our goal before April 30th.
I thank you for your continued generous support for my campaign.
Sincerely,
John McCain
P.S. I'm proud of my record of service on behalf of the people of Arizona and our nation. But I may not be able to continue my service in the U.S. Senate if I am not reelected. I'm engaged in both a tough reelection campaign and a battle against the ever-expanding government under the control of President Obama, Leader Reid and Speaker Pelosi. Your urgent donation of $25, $50, $100, or even $250 is needed to ensure we reach our monthly fundraising goal so that I may be reelected to continue fighting for our shared values. Thank you.
Time to retire to the rocking chair, John ...
AZ voter.
john@johnmccain.com
So John, where do you stand on the new immigration law that passed in your state today?
Yeah.. like the jobs killing cap and trade.
Sorry Juan. My give a d_mn is busted! Go JD!
If he “loves a good fight”
then why wouldn’t he fight against Baracky?????????????????
Bite me, McCain.
Go, JD!
Interesting that he didn't fight back with any vigor against the attacks leveled by his Presidential opponent.
Just go home John,retire.
Go JD!!
I got this too; I took it (”I’m prepared to fight”) as a threat.
Now he is willing to fight! Wasn’t so willing during the last campaign. Loser.
Subject: Reptiles
Dear POF:
First there was Sarah Palin. Now we can add another Republican reptile from the past trying to help the GOP win House races this year - former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum.Last weekend, Santorum whipped up a crowd of thousands of tea party extremists over the upcoming May 18th special election for the Pennsylvania House seat that was held by the late, great Congressman Jack Murtha.
Even worse, national Republicans just dropped a whopping $247,000 to spread lies and fear-mongering attack ads in this race. I need your help to fight back so we can keep this critical House seat blue. He needs just another $25,000 more for his rapid response efforts before Monday to keep pace.
Contribute $5, $10 or more to help Democrat Mark Critz win the critical special election to succeed the late Congressman Jack Murtha in PA-12.
We need your help in the next 48 hours so Critz can fund his rapid response before it's too late.
Ever since all those fire-breathing tea party nut jobs scored their upset win in the Massachusetts Senate election, they've been looking for a new race to target.
Santorum and his fellow nut jobs on the right-wing lunatic fringe know that another Republican win in a special election like this will send the media into a tizzy about how it's all over for President Obama's agenda and how the GOP has all the momentum this year.
We can't let it happen.

The DCCC knows a thing or two about winning special elections. Thanks to you, they won five big ones in a row where Republicans put up a fight. But the stakes are even higher in this one.
We can't let the Republicans elect another big-bank protecting, millionaire-supporting, tea-party loving member of Congress to help them bring back the failed agenda of George W. Bush.
Jack Murtha stood with us when we took back the House in 2006. Let's not let those tea party extremists take his seat here in 2010.
Contribute in the next 48 hours so we can respond to their latest round of attacks and win this fight for Jack.
Thanks,
James CarvilleP.S. Rick Santorum and the rest of the tea-party extremists are trying to help the Republicans repeat what they did in the Massachusetts Senate election so they can claim the momentum this year. We can't let it happen.
I guess what they say about flak is correct. If anybody wants to donate to Mr. Carville's efforts, drop me a line and I can hook you up.
Not photo-shopped - McCain getting angry at Bush during a primary debate.
Yeah, John, you're it top fighting form when it comes to your precious political career. You'll fight to the death and take America down with you if that's what it takes.
ROFL He wants to “set the record straight.”
Priceless. Wish I was an AZ voter.
If McCain cared anything about “fighting” he would be President today.
Time to go johnny.
“I’m Prepared to Fight”
Hey John, I believe you when it is a Conservative Republican you are up against. Heck you even stabbed Bush in the back numerous times. When it is one of your dimoKKKRAT buddies it is time to reach across the aisle and kiss and make up.
