House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer said Thursday he and Speaker Nancy Pelosi made a mistake when they called anti-health care protests "un-American" last year.
"That was not a good phrase, not a good use of language, it was not correct," Mr. Hoyer, Maryland Democrat, said, adding that he did not see anything wrong with vigorous debating of philosophies.
In August, in the middle of a summer in which members of Congress were sometimes shouted down at town halls by constituents furious over the health care bill, Mr. Hoyer and Mrs. Pelosi wrote an op-ed article in USA Today decrying the tenor of the debate and complaining about baseless charges.

If Hoyer thinks Democrats are going to lose the House, he will position himself to claim that it was the extremism of Pelosi to blame, and make himself appear as reasonable and moderate to benefit from Pelosi’s fall from grace.
I’m just surprised he’s starting already. He must be “seeing November from his house”.
Must be up for re-election?
As Al Pacino said in Scarface, Fush Yu, Meng!
Come November, we gonna bury those cock-a-roaches!*

As usual these rats like Hoyer really don’t understand.
What was more wrong, calling us a bad name or screwing up America by passing 3-4 TRILLION DOLLARS worth of bills.
Once again they really DON’T understand. I pray that vermin like Hoyer and Pelosi are shown the door. Damn Communist!
A great tagline. :) Can I use it?
Writing from behind enemy lines inside Steny Hoyer’s district, I can only express deep disappointment over the manner in which he has “grown” in office, devolving from a center-right Rat to a moonbat lefty over the past 25 years. His district was designed to assure his victory for the rest of time by including just enough of the DC suburbs to counteract the sentiments of the people occupying 90% of the district.
Yes he mis-spoke, which is Washingtonese for “Oh no, I accidentally spoke the truth about what I think.”
