I think reason will win the day; 50 seems a bit much to me to, but in the end the law is the law and it is so frequently subverted these days.
If you’ve seen pics of this kid, you’ll note that he would not last more than 2 years anyway.

Nah, Kernell should get his 50 years and Palin could then pardon him in 2 years when she’s president. So thats 2 years in jail
