President Obama on Friday criticized a controversial new immigration bill in Arizona, calling it "misguided."
"Our failure to act responsible at the federal level will only open the door to irresponsibility by others. That includes, for example, the recent efforts in Arizona, which threaten to undermine basic notions of fairness that we cherish as Americans, as well as the trust between police and their communities that is so crucial to keeping us safe," the president said at a naturalization ceremony for 24 members of the military.

he also said that if enacted, he would ask the Justice Department to look into its constitutionality. That means the DOJ will find a Federal Judge to throw it out. This is the opening round of the 2010 immigration fight. I predict that starting next week, this will be all over the talk shows as Financial regulatory reform draws a snooze.

More than an “excellent bill”.....it goes to States Rights which must be enforced. The Feds have nothing to say about what Arizona or any other State does inside of their borders.

So, Mr Obama [if that's your name] Common Sense is now IRresponsible?
So am I but what are you?
Obama added, "As a nation, as a people, we can choose a different future, a future that keeps faith with our history, with our heritage, and with the hope that America has always inspired in the hearts of people all over the world."
Saul Alinsky would be so proud. Rule #11. "If you push a negative hard and deep enough, it will break through into its counterside."
OBAMA LIES [or he never read a History book he couldn't revise] AND A NATION DIES.

I hate to disagree with you of all people Jim, but I think I called it right!
Now if only we had a 'Reagolus Maxums' type to step forward and lead the people out of bondage and back to the promised land.

"Our failure to act responsible at the federal level will only open the door to irresponsibility by others.", You got that partially right, Hussein. Allow me to rewrite it for you:
"Our failure to act responsibly at the federal level has opened the door for individual states to act responsibly."
