That does not matter, he is the Commander in Chief, Orders were issued by others and not him, so he does not need to show it.

Because this misguided person is wrong does not mean the president has to be burden with this nonsense. And what does this former general even know? Military Law and Precedents Volume page 49, states all orders come from the Commander in Chief or his representatives.
