Welcome troll! What a choice for a first post.
That having been said, I didn't even know that they still made "Archie" comics. It was lame when I was a kid. Doesn't look it's changed much.
I’m not sure why you called this poster a troll. I agree that putting this kind of crap in a comic book intended for kids is offensive. Then they go and take it a step further in the last panel to evoke the image of a “three way”. Wow, does it get any more inapropriate than this?
I'm into comics and this is timely. Did I say I approved?
Is that a Wizard of Id reference?

I'm a big fan of Archie comics from the '50s and '60s, but they've gone nowhere but downhill since then.
Another staple of Americana falls away...
If you look at a sample of Archie comics from the ‘90s back to the ‘40s, you really do see an overview of generations of America...from clothes, to slang, to cars and fads.
Veronica was the rich, shallow one, Betty the wholesome girl next door, Archie the clumsy everyman, Reggie the selfish prankster and now they add a guy whose character is based upon what he does with his sex organs?
Oh, give him a break.
He (or she) DID post a picture of Betty and Veronica.
THAT counts for a lot!
This is not necessarily a troll post. It is an issue of interest to conservatives.
In high school, my exposure to gays was limited to being told by the gay guy in school to “F” myself in a hall of people after I said hello to him. Because I had witnessed to a friend of his and she later became a Christian.
I never discussed sexuality in any way with her, because at the time we didn’t discuss “such things”. But man he hated me. And I didn’t get why. His whole “group” dished out some nasty about me a long time.
I always laugh when people tell me about gays being abused in school. I had no idea why they hated me so much when I had always been so nice to them.
I still don’t hate them. This was in the mid seventies in NYC. I know these people probably died in the AIDS epidemic.
I always liked Betty better.
You have to forgive our touchiness. Far left lunies love to come here and sign up and make obnoxious posts, for which they get deservedly zotted. Like this one.

If you are a believer in American conservatism, Welcome! We are really very nice folk here.
btw the real Riverdale High, it’s said, is Haverhill High School in Haverhill MA, where Bob Montana attended (my own father was a student there for about half a year before moving, in the late 30s). To this day the Eagle-Tribune of nearby Lawrence calls it “Haverhill’s Archie”. The Riverdale name came from the NYC area though
Real life Haverhill citizens inspired characters. The name of Veronica Lodge came from Veronica Lake (actress) and the
Boston area Brahmin family, the Lodges. Pop’s Choklit Shoppe was based on a real life teen hangout in the city.

Don’t worry, this happened to me as well. Luckily, there are enough here who understand that posting something timely doesn’t necessarily mean you are agree with every single opinion or aspect. Welcome!
