I just play with my Winchester! My eldest son is a Benelli type. He's a cop. He started clays at 12, with an 1100 Remington 12 ga. Shot most of them. Won lots. I can decimate a tin can at 20 feet! I wish I had a Krieghoff. I have shot a couple. They are sweet
My sporting clay guns are:
a Browning GTi in 12ga
& a Browning 425 in 20ga;
both have cast-off stocks
& briley chokes on 30" barrels.
My first adventure into
Sporting Clays
was a disaster: 30/100.
Then I took a course in
Move, Mount; Shoot
Two hours later I moved up
to an 85/100 shooter.

I used to go sporting clays shooting with a Mossburg 500 12ga riot gun.
I never did very well but it was fun anyway.

I lusted after other things, than guns. My eldest, though, was a good shot and wons lots of trophies. I've seen him shoot 99's and 100's. His mother's Dad gave him a Benelli to show off at the Isaac Walton club in Fairfax (VA). He went back to his 1100, but kept the gun!!!
Now he is a police LT and sits getting fat...
