I wanted the doctor to know our son (even though he was in a coma) and do everything he could to save him. I mentioned that he was an Eagle scout and the doctor replied that so was he and his sons. This man worked around the clock to save our son and succeeded. He puts his Eagle rank on his job resume (as do I) and he just accepted a position at Facebook after his recovery and lengthly rehab.
Our son’s project was to install a handicap parking zone at a church — as a ironic twist, he now has such a placard.
