A U.S. military jury cleared a Navy SEAL Thursday of failing to prevent the beating of an Iraqi prisoner suspected of masterminding a 2004 attack that killed four American security contractors.
The contractors' burned bodies were dragged through the streets and two were hanged from a bridge over the Euphrates river in the former insurgent hotbed of Fallujah, in what became a turning point in the Iraq war

Maybe it would be better if our persecuted soldiers demanded their show trials be held in Iraq. It seems like this nonsense was put to rest rather quickly there.
Better yet, let them kill the enemy and be done with it.

Honor. Courage. Commitment. :: All were more important than his ‘career’. HE stood for principle and honorable service to his calling. Too bad his civilian ‘superiors’ do not.

His trial was brought up thanks to the PC , brown nose culture that is bent on gaining rank irregardless of honor.
Solution: stop taking prisoners. Decimate the enemy, or come home.

This comes from WH lawyers and the Wimp-OTUS running the war from their couches in DC.
He’ll end up getting out of the service, and this sort of thing will have a negative impact on all other essential personnel.
Meanwhile, the sort of careerists who polish chairs at the Pentagon will continue to ruin the services for the sake of their promotions, perks, and pensions.
End result: further emasculation of America’s armed forces and diminished war fighting capability at a time when the global challenges faced are heating up world-wide.
