That should block out more of the sun and ease global warming. If Katla blows, the reduced sunlight could affect crop production, worldwide. Stock up on those can goods.

I'll be hitting the store tomorrow and stocking up on sale items.
Usually I give the items a month away from expiration to the food bank
to keep a good rotation. Although many items can be stored beyond the dates.
