Your strawmen aside, the industry as a whole does not ‘lose a plane’ the individual airline does.

Apparently hyperbole appeals to you. But if your scenario actually played out, no one would be buying tickets even if the airlines were flying. And they would not be, the maintenance personnel and/or the pilots themselves would ground the airplanes if the management or the FAA did not step in.

Obviously you dont have a clue on what you are talking about, what you said is not accurate at all. And this is an insulting game you are playing IMO.
