Never happen. No room for teleprompters in the cockpit.
Like the strike force staging at a base in Saudi,...
It has already been discussed here regarding use of Saudi airspace. Do not be surprised however if it winds up being a joint Israel-Saudi-Gulf States strike. The gulf states are already making major purchases of PGM’s intended for Iranian targets. The Saudis may not like the Israelis, but they likely fear a few nukes in the hands of Nutjob enough to put that aside in their own self interest.
If you scramble fighters there is more chance a visual identification will be made so there goes the accidental shootdown aspect of the coverup. Also you get fewer stories from angry US fighter Jocks who might later on gift FOX NEWS with some juicy ammunition. There is also a greater chance that you'll get refusals to fire from the pilots, whereas a missile rarely says "no."
In the George W. Bush administration there would be no doubt whatsoever that we would never shoot down Israeli planes, and the chairman would not need to resort to such mealy mouthed, politically correct non-answers.
Keep thinking that.
“The ship’s captain requsted F-16 support from American stationed in Saudi Arab”
F-16s weren’t produced until 1976 or 77.
. . . “I just would not want to get into speculation about what might happen and who might do what. . . “
Ok, so we would never, ever attack Iran or shoot at its planes, but look out Israel. But look at who is a chief adviser to Hussein Obama; none other than the Jew Hating
Rev. Al Sharpton!! I cannot believe any Jew in the United States would vote to reelect this loser.
I don't believe they would do it.
I also believe, one day, Obama will give an order to the JCS that they will overtly refuse to follow.
I don’t think he would give an order to attack the IAF. That would make him eligible for a visit from the Mossaud. But I do think that he would hinder the operation and possible provide warning to the iranians while the IAF was in route.
~~~~~~ping~~~~~~
If I had testicles said the Queen, I would be King.lol
“Now, I wonder if Israel would have room for all the US pilots and US F16s that would seek sanctuary rather than carry out those orders.”
Don’t worry. USAF pilots won’t defect.
And if you had to be dropped in any nation in that map with no identification on you, which nation would you choose?
Sorry, I must have messed up on the model of jet... I’m a ground pounder, not an aviator.
Israel National News is one of the major news outlets in Israel. Not tabloid journalism by any means.
Mullen was at WVU yesterday, gave a speech and fielded questions
just a mis-translation of his name
I don’t believe the captain of the Liberty request air support from F-16s.
The Six Day War was in June, 1967.....the first F-16 didn’t fly until February, 1974. The aircraft started joining operational squadrons circa 1976 - 1978.
“Im a ground pounder”
I’m a former grunt. No biggie da.
