Probably true, he always has felt more comfortable on the Left side of the aisle than he has on the Right.
But make no mistake -- even if John McCain is out of office in Arizona, he will still be chair of one of the most powerful NGO's in the world -- The International Republican Institute. Just check their list of donors (beyond us taxpayers). The IRI has as much if not more political clout on US foreign policy, than the US State Department. McCain will continue on as Chairman there even if he is out of office.
18 million for “security” every year?
Maybe that is a “catch-all” Blackwater deal whereby they protect other endangered species......

Subject: McCain and Kosovo
Dear Scott,
Im so glad to have stumbled upon The Conservative Voice, and to see that the blogosphere is waking up, albeit at the eleventh hour, to the disaster thats been nine years in the making in Kosovo. About John McCain, however, here is some info: He is what one might call an honorary Albanian. He was an early Albanian purchase and therefore an early, and very vocal, supporter of bombing Yugoslavia on behalf of the terrorists known as KLA. He is the worst possible choice for president, second only to Hillary. He is so deep into Albanian mafia/terrorist money that its funny to even think hell reverse coursewhen even Bush, who had no such Albanian connection until the heros welcome in June—couldnt reverse course on what is by now an institutionalized pro-terror policy in the Balkans. And this is in a post-9/11 world.
