PHOENIX -- The Arizona House on Monday voted for a provision that would require President Barack Obama to show his birth certificate if he hopes to be on the state's ballot when he runs for reelection.
The House voted 31-22 to add the provision to a separate bill. The measure still faces a formal vote.
It would require U.S. presidential candidates who want to appear on the ballot in Arizona to submit documents proving they meet the constitutional requirements to be president.
Phoenix Democratic Rep. Kyrsten Sinema said the bill is one of several measures that are making Arizona "the laughing stock of the nation."
Mesa Republican Rep. Cecil Ash said he has no reason to doubt Obama's citizenship but supports the measure because it could help end doubt.

If he is not on the ballot can they just ignore AZ and discount our vote?

"Phoenix Democratic Rep. Kyrsten Sinema said the bill is one of several measures that are making Arizona "the laughing stock of the nation." "
This dem is trying to head it off by using the Alinsky ridicule threat...however, if Arizona should pass this bill it will actually make them the national hero of the majority of the American Citizens.
Because of the "alinsky factor" there are a lot more people out there who want this COLB thing answered, than will admit to it for fear of being called a "birther".
This question needs to be put to rest, and this is a big, first step in doing that, and I applaude Arizona for its efforts in this regard.
DAMN THE TORPEDOES, FULL SPEED AHEAD.

Arizona is a “laughing stock” for following the US Constitution, according to Marxist progressives...

I’d like to see Missouri get involved.

I am shocked McCain hasn’t ‘influenced’ the decision in favor of Obama.

What are the chances of that bill being passed by the AZ state senate and being signed into law by the governor?

I would love to hear what McBama has to say about this...

If a few more states do this then Bozo may not even run for re-election. Can’t afford to let the people know how duped they were.

Woo Hoo - it made Drudge! Other states need to follow. Florida? Hey Charlie Crist - get off the tanning bed.
Maybe KS, ID, OK, TX, MS, AL, SC, WY, UT and a few others.

That's good news. I hope it passes. Have talked to members of the Idaho Legislature and they said they've talked about it but "couldn't get it on the docket". Sounds like they will next time. Being considered in nine other states last I heard. Typical demoncrat ridicule coming from the one Az member, "laughing stock", etc. Well Dems you need to know that Ridicule No Longer Works, or any of your old tried and true Alinsky tactics and dem talking points. We're in a Cold War with Obama and starting Revolutions II, so get used to it because here we come!
