I do believe that’s Justin Long, who also played the dweebie Brandon in Galaxy Quest. I thought he was great in that role, and it looks like he’s been typecast for the balance of his career (including the Mac commercials and Die Hard).
I’m a conservative who almost exclusively has been using a Mac since 1983. I’ll bet Apple hasn’t caught on yet...
