Don't get confused as I did. Ruby Ridge occurred 08/21/1992. Believe it or not, that was under George H. W. Bush Presidency. 01/20/89-01/20/93. (Reno was not AG yet.) That fact blew me away when I learned it.

Don't be surprised at ALL by that. GHW Bush was one of the most anti-gun presidents of the last century, and that's saying a lot. Under Bush 41, the ATF clowns were stomping people's kittens, busting down doors in the middle of the night, culminating with Ruby Ridge. Remember, it was Bush 41 who banned the further importation of machine guns (Class III arms) and the manufacture of magazines holding over 15 rounds.
