that he had to renominate Janet Reno for another term as Attorney General or she would go public about Waco. Huh? That doesn't make sense. Cabinet officials don't have to be renominated or reconfirmed. The only thing close is if the official was put in as a recess appointment and that term is temporary. But that doesn't apply to Reno, so after her confirmation she served as long as Clinton wanted her there.
