I believe it came out through 3rd parties that there was never any child abuse in the Waco compound, and that Reno had invented the story of child abuse as a pretext for amassing a force to attack the compound.
We can speculate that Clinton’s people, particularly Hillary, invented the child abuse excuse and told Reno to go public with that lie in order to gain some sense of public support and sympathy.
The Clinton gang were always turning their corruption and recklessness back on their enemies. Kosovo was the grandest farce of all, driven entirely by Hillary.

I heard Morris say this last night.
Obviously ole Reno was well schooled in the CYA school of politics.
Now to get Bubba to comment on the claim.
With Hillary in the supreme count and Obama as President do we have the woman riding the beast ... ?
Wouldn’t someone with a chemical engineering degree from Cornell like Janet Reno know about the gas?

How much credibility does Dick Morris have on any subject?
Two sections that might be of interest are (1) the Waco Holocaust and (2) Remembering the Dead. The former includes contemporary news clippings and timelines and the latter includes theories proposed by Freepers in the late 90's.
Seems to me, any thread with "Dick Morris" in the title should be skipped over by his detractors as irrelevant, untruthful, misleading, fictitious, mendacious and a hoax.
P.S.....all the above appellations directed at Morris are derived from the comments on this thread.

A DC-area novelist has written a thinly-veiled fictional account similar to this where the Pres. and First Lady were desperate to cover up one family’s attempt to make Bill “pay” for something done to one of the family’s girls.
Let’s see, he was accused of molesting kids (although the charge he was being served on was an altered gun sale) so the Clinton Justice Department KNOWINGLY (they have the audio transcripts) drew a man to mental instability (their claim is the Koresh was the one who set the fire) killing same kids.
Kind of like when Janet Reno sentenced a minor sexual offender as an adult where he could be raped in prison by adult sexual offenders.
They can only take us to the gulags if we comply.
So when there was a congressional investigation into Waco (and there was) did she lie to Congress or send out others to lie on her behalf?
Well, we know the answer is YES because the agents said that no incendiary devices were used and then they admitted that yes some of the devices WERE incidiary and Chuck You Schumer said “well there have been lies told on both sides”. Lying to Congress USED to be a serious charge.
Then again, John Kerry did it in 1973 and got away with it too.

Actually, this morning on Bill Bennett’s radio show, he did admit it and expressed a serious regret at having done so “back when he was a liberal democrat working for them”.
I was actually kind of shocked to hear the regret in his voice, and I actually thought it very sincere.
Let’s hope it was sincere for his soul’s sake.
