I’m living in the middle of a community that actually believes this @#%&.
I think I’m beginning to believe it. In spite of astronomical unemployment, the roads are jammed with late model cars, restaurants and bars are busy, grocery stores and shopping centers are jammed, and everyone seems to be just getting over a recent vacation and planning the next one. Property taxes are soaring, income taxes are the stuff of nightmares...still, young people and minorities seem to have gobs of money and those without jobs seem to have no interest in looking for work. Speaking of which, I’d better get back to our small business and hope we can earn enough money today to cover our expenses.
