Economies recover before hiring recovers.

I know the economy is recovering.

Usually hiring follows.

I’m not so sure this time.

There are too many obstacles to hiring placed by the 0bummer Administration.

We’ve already had one of the longest recessions in history.

I have low confidence in a quick pace of rehiring.

Agree. One reason things are up is that businesses cut back on buying so severely for the past 18 months that they now have no choice but to replenish inventories and make necessary capital purchases if they want to stay in business.

Our economy will not be the same coming out of this recession as it was going in. The impact of activities beyond our control, including Chinese currency revaluation, have yet to be felt.

People are acting like the US future is a mystery. It isn’t. With a failed real estate situation and bad bank loans still on the books, we’re Japan 1993. Stimulus packages and promising recoveries one after another has kept it in malaise since then. Doing all the wrong things doesn’t magically bring things back. The US is screwed up fundamentally and their isn’t any yellow brick road that leads the stupid to prosperity without a new brain.

I figure SOME hiring will follow. I wouldn’t be pulling out the plastic and going and doing a little lifestyle upgrade quite yet though. I figure the other shoe is going to drop.
