Newt Gingrich raises $2.7 million

Newt Gingrich, who has toyed with a possible 2012 White House bid, raised nearly $2.7 million in the first three months of the year for his political committee – almost as much as the groups of prospective rivals for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty, Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee brought in combined.

Maybe true, but the entrenched bureaucracy isn't touched and that's where more of the problem lies.

Term limits is about telling your neighbors whom they may not vote for. I voted for term limits in California solely to get Willie Brown out of the Speakership in Sacramento and it worked. Perhaps it helped the state survive long enough so I could escape.
