Newt Gingrich, who has toyed with a possible 2012 White House bid, raised nearly $2.7 million in the first three months of the year for his political committee – almost as much as the groups of prospective rivals for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty, Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee brought in combined.

I got a call the other day from Newt. The lady at the other end asked if I was fed up with “radical agenda” blah, blah, blah...she asked me to hold on and listen to what Newt had to say...I told her I’m a Republican but frankly I’m not interested in anything Newt has to say and hung up.

Apparently a lot of people got that call and fell for it hook, line and sinker...Good luck SUCKERS!

Newt should also travel with Dede to remind us about some of his not so long ago “triumphs” for the conservative cause.

I guess Newt just doesn’t realize we’re fed up with him! For me endorsing Scozzafava was the very last straw! The man needs to realize we do not want RINOs.

As for why Sean Hannity always sucks up to him and McCain I have no idea. I would listen to him sometimes but NO MORE. I realize he’s got the foundation for soldier’s kids and stuff but I’m sick of him panting after RINOs.

Not sure how much louder we have to scream at the Tea Parties to make these idiots understand. Newt should take Mitt, Huckabee and Sean and go on a long vacation.

Argh, what a waste of 2.7 million.

Give it to a decent candidate, Newt.

“As for why Sean Hannity always sucks up to him and McCain I have no idea”

I find them both interesting as pundits. Heck, I like Willie Brown as a pundit.

"Newt Gingrich, who has toyed with a possible 2012 White House bid, raised nearly $2.7 million in the first three months of the year for his political committee..."

I doubt if many of those who've donated to his PAC did so on the belief that they were donating to a presidential campaign.

Let Newt ask directly for campaign contributions, and see how much he collects. About squat is my estimation.

Sean has become something like the Energizer Bunny on steroids. He keeps going and going, but keeps on saying the same thing, over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over again.

He does the same thing with his guest line-up, too. Every time he announces that, "Former Speaker of The House, Newt Gingrich will join us in the next hour", he says it like it's the first time he's ever had him on the show.

What kills me worse, is that he seems to have him on no less than twice a week. Sean! Enough already!

I would prefer to read that Steve King raised $2.7 million for HIS political committee.

This was over globull warming, to which the skeptical side of the science has come in the nick of time (and Gingrich is trying to cleverly backpedal from). I’d far, far rather see a President Newt Gingrich than a President Mittwit.

No thanks. It will be the same old bs and people like Newt will keep what Obama has tried to put in place.
