Moderate Muslim and Arab countries face great challenges as major players in the Middle East peace process who work to prevent the next war in the region which could break out as soon as this summer, King Abdullah of Jordan told the Chicago Tribune editorial board in an interview conducted Thursday.
There are countries in the Middle East that do not believe in the Arab peace proposal, he said, explaining that 57 Arab and Muslim states had basically all agreed that they want to have full diplomatic relations with Israel, but [want] in return a two-state solution, therefore a future for the Palestinians.

Must be the 57 states Obama was referring to back in 2008.
The arabs are in their best position to attack Israel than they have been in for decades.
Nevertheless, they will lose again..
If they hit Israel with a nuke, I’d like to see 20 or 30 Islamic hellholes become... um.. glowing craters.
That should have happened on 9/12/01!
Oh yes it should have.
“Oh my golly gee, did Ossama wipe out all those cities too? That is sad” Israel could have said sheepishly
Yep. Case closed.
Hey Abdullah....split your damn country in two and give the Palis a home!!!
My first thought. LOL!

With Barrack Hussein in office, they have their best chance in many years. But if the Icelandic volcano shuts down trans-Atlantic flights for a long time, their chances look even better.
Recall the 1973 war. The Israelis ran short of war materiel after a few days and supplies were airlifted from the US. Today, B. Hussein would not be inclined to do that anyway, but with air traffic shut down, there would be no airlift support possible. (At least without flying completely around the globe, a huge task for hauling supplies.) It would give B. Hussein political cover and the Arabs quite a psychological as well as logistical advantage.
It may come to the nukes sooner, rather than later, and the Israelis may have no choice.
The Samson Option
great post!
You read my mind. I thought the same thing. I’m now wondering if it was some weird Freudian slip.
Mine too. Freudian slip is what I’m now thinking. We think a lot alike here on FR.

Yeah, all they have to do is get the Palestinians to
agree...
