Naples tea party organizer Barry Willoughby said he expected a large turnout for the rally. A rough estimate from the Collier County Sheriffs Office was well over 1,000, spokeswoman Kristi Lester said. Tea party officials could not be reached for comment on their crowd estimates.

FOR EVEY ONE THERE THERE ARE 20 ASHAMED THEY WERE NOT.
I voted “The new power party” in the little pole on the left side of the page. The pole asked:
What do you think of the Tea Party?
1.The new power party
2.I prefer coffee
3.A flash in the pan that will eventually be a folklore
The sad point is this: as a licensed contractor in a growing state like here in Texas, I find it ofeensive that the government can take 40% fed income tax plus another 15+% self-employment tax.
Sadly, this is lenient compared to some northern cities with a state income tax plus city wage tax.
It’s sad but true, I put my arm around him & said this, “check it out, you make $100K, the feds collect 40%, plus your SE tax of 15+% plus another 8% city/state income tax. Not counting the 6-8% VAT tax
ADD those numbers together & as I told my son this, I said that means you are making 100K but keep less than 1/3, so you support the 2 guys next to you that don’t need to work.
ROFLMAO - on those choices!!!!
