We knew this was coming, I'm surprised it took them 2 entire days to tie the Volcano in Iceland to Global Warming.

And I'm still waiting for the first Freeper to say "It's Bush's fault."

Iceland is the only (I believe) part of the mid-Atlantic Ridge that breaks the ocean’s surface. Iceland volcanoes are due to the continental plates spreading apart — i.e., the Atlantic Ocean getting a little wider each year.
The Warmist claptrap is just that. Not that that will stop the warmists and their lapdog media.

I am confused. Didn’t 0bama talk about a volcano in Hawaii? Obviously no one knew what he was talking about but when has that stopped him.

I’d been waiting for the warmists to put out some nonsensical tie between the Icelandic volcano and their fantasy global warming, and here it is.

Well most of the ice in the north is already floating on water so we can take that out of play immediately.

This is truly rich - climate change causes the volcanos to go off because the tops, covered by snow, has melted away, thus removing weight and the cooling effect “scientist say”!
Only a child’s mind could conceive of such a chain of events!

Quick, give those Scientists some $$$$’s to study the situation and reach a Government funded Scientific study “Unbiased recommendation”.
Throw money at the Scientists, that will stop it.

Maybe this is true. Won’t the volcanic ash block some of the sun and the earth will cool again? Isn’t this how it works? Warmer....cooler....warmer....cooler.....

Actually, wouldn’t the greater amounts of ice increase the pressure of the magma and lead to bigger erruptions?

Weight of ice holds down volcanoes, even a third grader knows that is stupid. Eruptions don’t raise temps, they lower them. Another fact they ignore.
