Libs are only charitable with OTHER people’s money, never their own
Take most Libs that would be affected (i.e. the ones with family and jobs) and ask these questions:
You're against capital punishment but if someone raped and murdered your wife, what would you want to do with them?
You're for the legalization of certain drugs, but do you want your son using them?
You're for the legalization of prostitution, but do you want your daughter to be one?
You accept the idea of higher taxes to pay for what you see as essential social services, but should you personally pay more?
You accept additional fees for risky behaviors or unhealthy living such smoking and health care, but should we charge more for those that smoke pot, engage in homosexuality, etc etc etc?
The Lib is simple, he truly is. Liberalism in America has nothing to do with what the original term “liberal” once meant. In it's historical and actual meaning it's a positive term and many that call themselves conservative actually are liberal in so far that they want to maximize freedoms and embrace change. However, in contemporary America it's simply a class of people that are hedonistic, selfish, irresponsible, unpatriotic, and secular.
BTW- the typical Lib will do the avoid the question shuffle and use some fallacy to answer or deflect on the aforementioned questions.
