Mitt Romney-Sarah Palin in 2012? You betcha!
Boston Herald ^ | April 14, 2010 | Edward Mason, Hillary Chabot and Jessica Van Sack

Conservative superstar Sarah Palin opened the door today to joining forces with Mitt Romney for a 2012 White House run - a hot ticket that has some Republicans licking their chops at the prospect of unseating President Obama.

“Sounds pretty good,” Palin declared at today’s Tea Party Express rally on the Common when asked about pairing up with the former Bay State governor - giving the idea a big thumbs-up as she left the stage after her headline speech.

Earlier tonight, as Palin stopped for cannoli at Mike’s Pastry in the North End, she said she was “serious” about the idea.

People make crap up. Geez people will believe anything they read won’t they. Til I get PROOF that she said this I will just take this story as a really poor attempt at satire. Maybe I will be proven wrong, but til then, its BS

I agree.

If it’s between a RINO who instituted his own version of socialist medicine, which is failing epically, and who could have used that example to stump against the recently-crammed-down-our-throats Socialist Medicine bill, and the same commies, I may just have to go third party.

I’m sick of Dem=5 steps to the left, Rep=2 steps to the right (from that 5 steps).

“when it gets down to picking her running partner, she’s in the driver’s seat, and I don’t think she’s going to pick a RINO.”

Reagan did. And she’s not Ronald Reagan.

Can’t wait until this slick son of a bitch’s Ceausescu moment, when gets in front of a crowd of real conservatives and is shouted down by chants of RINO RINO RINO to the point where he can’t give his “speech”

This idea was floated under Mitt's direction (I believe).

You're probably right.

If you knew anything about politics, you wouldn’t expect a real politician like Reagan or anyone else to create a war and party division, by saying anything other than nice things about possible front runners for a future election in 2012 at this time, especially as we are all currently engaged in fighting for this years elections as a united front.

The only reason the Globe is excited is because a Romney/Palin ticket assures a Obama victory.

Oh, and West makes more real sense. West is impressive. I am surprised he did not get in more trouble with the incident in Iraq... or under the screws from our girlie-men who some call the Joint Chiefs.

Look, Sarah is being nice here. She has to be. She's in the Bay State. Mitt's client, Scott Brown, just won an election in January. She KNOWS that Mitt's people on the McCain Campaign dumped on her, and she KNOWS that Mitt's people were partly responsible for feeding damaging information to the MSM about her.

She knows all of this.

But when you are in this business, you HAVE to be nice, even to Pardon-The-Cop-Murdereruckabee.

What does Sarah really think about teaming up with the Massachussetts Mannequin?

Well, in an unguarded moment, they asked her SarahPAC staff, which included World Trade Center Guy, about the possibility of serving on a ticket with Mittens in any capacity....

Best,

Chris

Okay, that’s a completely misleading headline and story. Go to the Boston Herald page with the story and look down on the lower fight-hand corner of the page. The headline for the video refers to her being asked about a Palin-Romney ticket, and there it is about 2:15 in on the video. She is asked, “How about you and Romney on the ticket?” to which she answers “Sounds good to me.”

The press really is vile.

I can think ofa dozen better choices: Ryan, Santorum, Pence, King, Christie, Pataki, DeMint, Bachmann, even Cheney daughter though the pro-gay Cheneys are not my faves, the new gov of VA, George Allen, and a bunch of others I am forgetting.

I know Pataki is RINO-ish but less than Mitt. Christie is pro-choice but I like him.
