1. Cancel TARP.
2. Cancel the Bailout.
3. Cancel ALL earmarks.
4. Give the president (or for the next 2 2/3 years the occupant of our White House) a line item veto.
5. Eliminate all unfunded mandates.
6. Eliminate all spending that is not clearly related to an enumerated power.
7. Cancel ObamaCare.
I’d cut more than that, but it’s a good start and probably enough to balance the budget.
End the Dept of Education for one step.
No more funding for Planned Parenthood, NPR, PBS, ACORN blah blah blah
