Sen. Jim Bunning (R-Ky.) is leaving the Senate, but he's not going quietly.
Bunning on Wednesday announced that he will support Rand Paul in the GOP primary to take his seat. The move will be seen as a direct affront to the state's other senator, Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), and the candidate he is more closely tied to, Secretary of State Trey Grayson.
Kentucky needs a conservative who will say no to bailouts, stop the government takeover of our economy, end wasteful spending, and bring down our national debt," Bunning said. "And Kentuckys families need a conservative who believes in traditional values and the rights of the unborn. In 2010, there is only one such conservative running for the United States Senate -- Dr. Rand Paul."

Kentucky needs a conservative who will say no to bailouts, stop the government takeover of our economy, end wasteful spending, and bring down our national debt,” Bunning said Dang I love that Bunning fella.
Isn't he the guy that stopped the Senate from dolling out even more deficit financed unemployment money, and insisted that the Senate abide by the PAYGO that the Senate themselves voted for?
Too bad this excellent fellow is retiring from the Senate.

We could not ask for a nobler endorsement. Sen Bunning has stood against the entire Senate and earned the respect of freedom minded and principled American everywhere. Sen Paul has tremendous shoes to fill. Thank God for Sen. Bunning!
- Kentucky needs a conservative
- Who will say no to bailouts
- Who will stop the government takeover of our economy
- Who will end wasteful spending
- Who will bring down our national debt
- Kentuckys families need a conservative
- Who believes in traditional values
- Who believes in the rights of the unborn.
In 2010, there is only one such conservative running for the United States Senate -- Dr. Rand Paul.
- Kentucky needs a Senator just like Jim Bunning

McConnell won reelection by touting all the ‘bacon’ he was bringing home.
Not exactly the type of ‘leader’ the rnc needs.

This is HUGE.
This is the railroad spike in Grayson's campaign.
Also, notice that Grayson is now
attacking Sarah Palin. Another huge mistake.

Extremely disappointing. Bunning chose poorly. Junior Paul is still a Truther-funded candidate who is close buddies with traitors like Adam Kokesh. We cannot afford to have him in the Senate, period.

In the United States Senate, Kentuckians need a strong, principled conservative to stand up to the liberals and establishment politicians that run Washington. Kentucky needs a conservative who will say no to bailouts, stop the government takeover of our economy, end wasteful spending, and bring down our national debt. And Kentuckys families need a conservative who believes in traditional values and the rights of the unborn. In 2010, there is only one such conservative running for the United States Senate Dr. Rand Paul.
Dr. Paul will be his own man in Washington, not beholden to the special interests and beltway insiders who come looking for handouts on a daily basis. Instead, Dr. Paul will be a strong voice and advocate for the people and values of Kentucky. Dr. Paul is a man of his word who can be trusted to do what is right for Kentucky and the nation. I know what it takes to stand up for the conservative principles that are needed to make America a better place for our children and grandchildren. Dr. Paul shares those same core values and has the courage and conviction necessary to make sure the voices of Kentuckys workers, families, retirees, and children are heard in Washington. That is why I am supporting Dr. Paul to be our next United States Senator from Kentucky.

Grayson should have contacted Sarah and Mitch McConnell picked the fued with Bunning. Two huge errors.
Sarah Palin made a shrewd endorsement. Father Ronald Paul likes Sarah Palin. If Randall wins the general election, he’s going to give Schumer, Leahy Levin and other loathsome democrats fits. In fact, he might send a couple of the fossils to the graves they’ve been avoiding for years.
Winning the Republican nomination is half the battle. He’ll have to win the general election. The democrats will have a chance now to run a so-called “conservative” rat.

The above is enough to make me overlook what ever disagreements I may have with Rand Paul over defense and foreign policy issues. I absolutely cannot stomach any more big government Republicans.

So what ? Doesn’t change the fact of Junior Paul’s associates and funding. I would bet many of the primary voters don’t know about either. Paleo-Libertarians are a low single-digit percentage of the voting base, and are not a part of the mainstream of the GOP.

I guess you prefer the Liberal Democrat Greyson over Paul...
I am no Truther....but better a Truther not stealing my wallet than a Liberal with his hands always in my butt...
