I can’t wait to hear about the first “Born in East LA” situation to hit the news!

Are you driving without a license? I don't think you can travel without one anymore, maybe you could hitch hike, but that is illegal too.
If you are a short dark skinned guy tieh black hair who hangs on street corners waiting for a pick up to come along and day hire ya, then it may be a good diea.
“Immigrant rights groups”
These people are controlling the argument by controlling the language - as usual.
They are NOT “Immigrant Rights Groups”. The people they advocate for are not “immigrants” - they are illegal invaders.
“Immigrants” come here legally, obey our laws and become citizens by waiting in line and doing whatever they are required to do legally.
These “groups” are about illegal invaders - foreigners who violate our borders and laws - regardless of reason, and come here demanding the same rights as legal immigrants and American Citizens.
Yes, only you have to carry your papers in Arizona. Nobody else.
Better wait on the Governor, before getting wee, weed up. Any hints on whether it will be signed into law?
About time...
This is minor compared to the homes that are ransacked and vehicles that are stolen. My son had a brand new Ford 250 HD Edition pickup stolen. It was found a couple weeks later totaled out in an arroyo. The "coyotes" make one "run" with the vehicles they steal and then dump the destroyed vehicle. Two months later, his home was ransacked by illegals. Last month, the home of his friend was ransacked. I guess it's all part of that "diversity" thing.
Just think of the cost reductions in the AHCCCS program and school systems. This works for me!
I applaud Arizona...Keep up the good work!
Its about time...
These lawmakers deserve praise for their action.
I’m flying to AZ this weekend. Of course I can’t get on the plane without photo ID ... otherwise I guess I’ll just hide behind my red hair and green eyes and hope for the best.
:-)
Just do what The Amazing Racist does. He gets a pickup truck, drives to Home Depot, and tells the Mexicans that he needs laborers. They pile into his pickup truck and he promptly drives them to the closest Immigration office. When he pulls up the Mexicans jump out and run at world record speeds.
Arizona has passed legislation to deal with illegal aliens in the past, I believe legislation that would have denied state benefits to illegals. A former governor named Napolitano vetoed that bill. I guess they expect the Republican Jan Brewer to sign this one.
But every time I start feeling too optimistic that Arizonans might retire Juan McCain, I recall that they elected Napolitano as their governor twice. But maybe the voters will be in a different frame-of-mind this year.
Oh, and you might be questioned if you change your baby's diaper and stuff it onto the supermarket shelves too.
We don't want to harm our relations with you. We just want to have the relations with you when you are back in your own friggin' country! By the way, if you are a legal immigrant, and are pissed at me you should get a life and start calling yourself an American and start defending it and assimilate. I don't want you to go home. I want you to treat your new home as your original home, that's all. Stop aligning yourselves with criminals.
For another take on this bill, SharpRightTurn is jubilant. A state legislature willing to do something about illegal immigration. Imagine that. Let the LaRaza types direct their anger at Mexico, which doesn't like illegal Guatemalans hanging around in their country.
you’re right...i can’t help it...with all the doom and gloom lately, i’m clinging to these bright spots!
word is that she will sign it...she’s always been a vocal advocate of immigration enforcement.
crossing my fingers...even if she DOESN’T sign it, i’m still happy that our reps are passing legislation like this through the house and senate.
