Palin drops the other shoe (Alan Keyes)
AIP / Loyal to Liberty ^ | 2010-04-12 | Alan Keyes

Posted on 04/13/2010 11:43:41 PM PDT by rabscuttle385

Recently I ran across a video interview in which Sarah Palin enthusiastically declares "I support Michael Steele…I think he's doing a great job. Michael Steele is an outsider. The machine, I think, is tough to penetrate--I think it's been good to have an independent outsider trying to create some change in the Republican Party."

Michael Steele has from the first day of his tenure been a spokesman for the RINO, pro-abortion, amoral, 'money is god' elite minority that presently controls the Republican Party. The statement that Steele is an outsider is an outright lie. He has for some years now made himself the tool of the elite RINO clique. There's only one sense in which Steele is an outsider. He's outside the purview of the conservative views of the pro-life, God-fearing grassroots' majority of the GOP's voting base.

Last week Steele went so far as to validate Obama's ugly abuse of the racism charge. To cover what he himself admits to be his "mistakes" he paired himself with Obama as a black being judged by a higher standard than whites. Obama has lied, broken every election promise, hidden all aspects of his background and never been called to account. No politician in American history has been held to a lower standard of accountability. So what is Steele talking about? Just like Obama and his verbal terrorists, Steele brandishes the charge of racism in order to intimidate his critics, and distract from the fact that their criticisms have a solid basis in fact. This gives aid and comfort to some of the worst elements of the Obama faction's media and political thugs. Will Steele stop at nothing in the effort to protect himself and silence his critics? How then does he differ from the arrogant Obama intimidators that as RNC Chairman he purports to oppose?

He imitates the Obama faction verbal terrorists, and Sarah Palin's response is to praise him for doing a good job. How can people who claim to be conservative go on blinding themselves to the truth about Sarah Palin? Just as they did when she was governor of Alaska, her actions belie her superficially constructed conservative image. In the critical area of her personnel choices she blithely promotes the wrong people, as she did when, as Governor, she boasted about putting a pro-abortion Planned Parenthood leader on the Alaska Supreme Court. Now she backs McCain, and heaps prevaricating praise on Michael Steele, though the words and actions of both men confirm their deficiency in anything that more than superficially resembles sincere, consistent conservative principle.

If Sarah Palin was authentically committed to the restoration of political integrity Tea Party people long for, she would be calling for Steele's resignation, not trying to use her popularity to shield him. I'm sure my words will merit shushing and the usual rotten tomatoes from people once again determined to hand the RINO GOP leadership another triumph of hope over experience. Do Sarah Palin's supporters want people to treat her the way the Obama's media clique treats him? Are we to be mesmerized by her words, but by no means analyze her actions? This kind of mentality herded people into supporting the betrayal of conservatism that characterized the locust eaten years of the Bush faction's preeminence. It's what created the void that Obama stepped into. The last thing America needs is more of the same, sweetened with a change of gender.

Sarah Palin's actions more and more confirm that she is pure and simply a 'Judas goat'. Her assignment is to gain some credibility with the disaffected conservatives in the GOP's grassroots base, then lead them over to RINOs like McCain and Steele (or Mitt Romney and Mitt Romney clones like Scott Brown.) She is a fabrication of the GOP's elite RINO leadership; a tool intended to help them survive what would otherwise be their certain political demise in the tidal wave of anger that is poised to sweep socialists, liberals, RINOs, CINOs (conservatives in name only) and other liberty threatening flotsam and jetsam out of their seats of power and influence. If this is the objective of the move to make Palin an icon of the Tea Party movement, many of the anguished, deeply sincere people who are pouring their hearts and hopes into the movement are simply being set up for another episode of heartbreak and betrayal, and this perhaps the last. If they truly wish to save America's liberty, they should first take care to save themselves this disappointment. It may be we have but one more shot at stopping the elitist juggernaut that means to overturn America's democratic republic. We must aim to make it count.

By the way, why would she or any conservative candidate for that matter, decline to voice or support that type of position?

Is securing and protecting our borders deemed too right wing or radical?

but i totally get what you’re saying...

Approximately one hour before this thread was posted last night, the boss pulled a similar thread with one comment...."enough!"
That shows absolutely no respect for the owner of this site.
The owner, BTW, supports Sarah Palin but I know you haven't forgotten....you just don't care.

As usual, you shoot from the lip. Part of my #189 for you to review:

"There are many many Palin supporters who advocate for their candidate and they do it with enthusiasm and with respect. I'd like to think that comprises the majority of Sarah's followers here on FR.

Your premature exasperation demonstrates to me that you are NOT in that 'majority' of Sarah Palin supporters of which I speak. That majority that our Founder happens to be in.

I'm still hopeful that you'll wise up.

Thanks...

BTW, anyone taking the time to look around, would see that I have repeatedly said Paul, and *no one* at this point is my candidate.

I have no favorites, I worship no politician....But in some minds if ya don't back and support their guy, you must be some kind of evil troll....lol

Yes, “Mark,” but of course, that’s exactly what the attack Sarah Palin threads are about and it’s the aim of the poster to elicit blood sport forum battles! You’ve made my very point. It’s that daily and nightly crap that has to stop.

“onyx, rabscuttle385 is not the only person here questioning the temperament of Palin’s followers, or the judgment and qualifications of Palin herself.
The skeptics and critics comprise a very diverse group - many of whom vehemently disagree with one another on other topics.”

The temperament of Palin supporters??? What is this “Best of Show”?

So, a person moron enough to support Ron Paul has credibility but people supporting a real conservative, Palin, are questioned.

THESE PEOPLE AREN’T QUESTIONING PALIN. They are attempting to knock out Palin as the only credible conservative who will run in the GOP. They are indirectly assisting the establishment RINO, Romney.

BUT THEY WILL BE THE FIRST PEOPLE TO WHINE, BITCH, MOAN ABOUT ROMNEY BEING THE NOMINEE.

Most are just fringers. A few I respect their opinion and dissent. But their political ineptness is astounding.

You hit the mark rbm. What you said bears repeating.

Don't bet the farm yet. That is a long ways off.

If Mrs. Palin expects to be a part of the next presidential election she needs to understand that grassroots America is figuring out that bad company corrupts good, every time. That is especially true inside the beltway.

She needs to dump McNutt, soon. The man has a Globemaster full of baggage.

For the record, I like Mrs. Palin, and I think she has what it takes to turn this country around.

That said, the MSM will use her association with McAmnesty to destroy her, along with a truck load of other junk we do not even yet know about.

To be a viable candidate, she must avoid all RINOS at all costs.

Hey bud, the time for reasoned debate is with people who have half a brain.

The same person over and over ad nauseum posting Palin bashing crap with the same misrepresented, twisted statements...over and over.

There is nothing new, it’s full scale attack.

It’s just starting to get ugly, we’ve been nice to this point. He is an enemy as well as his supporters. This election is to important to allow fringers to continue to assist Romney...and that is what he and his supporters are doing.

ROMNEY WILL LIKELY WIN THE GOP NOMINATION.

CONSERVATIVES GET DIVIDED BY PAULIST NUTS...well, I’m going down fighting. It will be Palin or it will be Romney. Anything else is a pipe dream.

It’s just beginning to get ugly.

Excellent statements,rbmillerjr!
Fringers trying to bring down Sarah Palin.
And over what exactly? Her endorsement of her former runningmate.
Well guess what? Her endorsement of Randall Paul is paying big dividends and he’s also endorsed by Stormfront!

So, a person moron enough to support Ron Paul has credibility but people supporting a real conservative, Palin, are questioned.

I'm not going to necessarily condemn someone for who he supports - unless, of course he is supporting a Nazi or communist or other anti-American. For the record, I personally think Ron Paul's non-interventionist foreign policy is dangerously wrong and I certainly don't support him.

I think that some Palin supporters are out there. I'm talking about the ones who engage in ad hominems, as well as the ones who take a Messianic view of her. Some of these folks look to me to be like members of the torches, pitchforks, and nooses crowd.

THESE PEOPLE AREN’T QUESTIONING PALIN. They are attempting to knock out Palin as the only credible conservative who will run in the GOP.

And how do you know this?

I like the broken record picture at #119. We will see what they post when President Palin is sworn in 2013.

I saw Matthews play Palin today once again making fun of Obama and Matty had this look of hatred on his face, and went off again on how inappropriate it is for ANYONE to criticize Obama, and it must be racism if they do (again.)

“”And how do you know this? “”

Same repetitive attacks...day after day after day. The same misfit characters that are mostly Third Party types or Ron Paul fanatics, who think they benefit from a disunited GOP with another RINO heading the ticket.

Well then, let me pose this hypothetical question: if you had say, 15 minutes to talk personally to Sarah Palin, and asked her what her opinion was about what you call 'attack threads' on FR, do you think she would tell you she wanted them stopped? Moreover, do you think she might also want to see all of the John McCain 'attack' threads cease as well?
