Nadia’s father, Jeff Bloom, thanked the rescuers.
“It all came so fast and it just shows the compassion of the human spirit. It should give everybody encouragement,” Jeff Bloom told reporters after rescue crews lifted his daughter into an ambulance.
When asked how he felt, Nadia’s father said: “I can’t even describe it. Let’s give the glory to God.”

When I was a kid, “My Side of the Mountain” was the coolest thing I ever read.
Glad the girl was found alive and she should get her ass whooped, but I wish kids had that adventurous spirit mediated by a set of smarts.

Alligator infested doesn’t begin to describe lake Jessup ,, it is bordered by Volusia , Orange , Seminole and Brevard counties ,, all of them used lake Jessup as a dumping ground for “nuisance” gators for over 50 years.. at night you can shine a light across the lake and not see a single spot where you don’t see reflections from their eyes.

"...alligator infested, pegged my creep meter..." I'm so thankful that she was found alive and not too much the worse for wear! Sad thing is this day and age that her chances being lost among those "creepy" four legged predators, in their habitat, were likely much better than here with the two legged, human kind.
Thank God she is safely back with her family.

How do we convince Omoslem to go camping in the Everglades? Any alligator that ate Obama would probably have diarrhea for at least a week.
