Top of the list of objectives is to: "Reinforce the perception that the US is constructively engaged in UN negotiations in an effort to produce a global regime to combat climate change." "Today the climate, tomorrow the world!"

Climate change talks yield small chance of global treaty
************************************EXCERPT*************************************
Head of UN environmental agency says talks divided between the west and developing nations over emissions targets
A global agreement on
climate change is unlikely this year and it may need two separate legal treaties to bring together the US and developing countries, the UN's top climate official has predicted.
The outgoing head of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, Yvo de Boer, said there was no chance of reaching a final deal by November in Cancun, Mexico the next time world leaders will meet to hammer out the a follow-up to the Kyoto protocol.
"The Americans do not want a second round of Kyoto. It is very possible we will see two agreements emerging from Cancun," he said.

"A document accidentally left on a European hotel computer..."
Well, even though I'm glad it was found, that was kind of careless to leave "presidential" documents just lying around like that...could have been secret stuff, National defense stuff. Oh, I forgot, obama doesn't give a rats ass about National defense.
I think obama and algore should get married and have little global warmings running around the house.
