This is where Scott Brown stayed and had his victory night celebration in the Ball Room. (of course, so did JFK in '52 when he won the Senate)That looked like a beautiful ballroom on TV. I got a text message from the Scott Brown campaign only about a half hour before Brown's "rally" began that night... we never would have made it on time.
Thanks for your advice in #74... we'll check out the Park Plaza tomorrow, after the rally if we get a chance. Any good (reasonably priced) restaurants in that hotel?

Taking the train down from Maine in the morning.Cool! I'm pretty familiar with the trains that go to/from NYC, but I'm not familiar with the Boston-bound trains.

I'm writing you from MJ O'Conner's Irish Pub. McCormick & Schmick's is also good but tonight they are booked to the gills in the dining room -- I didn't ask why! (I can ususally get a seat for the asking -- even the bar was packed out). Maggiano's Little Italy is across the street as is Fleming's Steak House and Legal Sea Food. No bad food in the vicinity.
FReegards!

He could call in or have a 30 second video or audio snippet to play at the event. Ok, hes got hearings, but he could spare 30 seconds for the people that got him elected.I agree, FRiend...

Any plans for TV ...C-span?I don't know. I would check Fox News, C-SPAN, and I would strongly recommend registering at PJTV.com. They have run several of the past Tea Party Express rallies (especially the one with Sarah) via live streaming on the 'net. I watched Sarah's appearance in Searchlight, NV there. You can register at PJTV.com for free.
Also, FReeper onyx will be running a live thread tomorrow, I believe...

Anyone visiting Boston for the rally tomorrow, be sure to walk the Freedom Trail afterward. It has to be the most historic 2 miles in the whole country—the Old North Church, site of the Boston Massacre, Bunker Hill, the USS Constitution, etc.

The event officially starts at 10:00 AM.
What time should people get there if they want to get good seating?
Is bringing lawn chairs recommeded?

Google “downeaster train”. It has service from North station to Portland.

pillut48 ALREADY FOUND THAT TEA PARTY EXPRESS TV WILL BE STREAMING LIVE:
http://www.teapartyexpress.tv/
You have to register, but it’s free.
In the morning, before I post the LIVE thread, I will check for FON NEWS and CNN live streams, and I’m willing to wager that both will carry at least some parts LIVE unless the Marxist-in-cjief butts-in with a stupid speech.
Also, PJTV usually carries the Teap Parties, but they didn’t show tomorrow’s schedule when I checked earlier this afternoon.

I see you're from Connecticut. Check the Amtrak website for Acela service to see what goes into Boston from the south. Downeaster comes into Boston from the north.

I'm sorry, I don't know any of the details. I don't know if there's seating or you bring your own. (Maybe bring one of those folding ones?)
Syncro is traveling with the Tea Party Express III... you may want to ask him...
