TAX DAY APRIL 15, 2010

In 2009 the week prior to the first national Tea Party rallies in cities across the nation I had made up my mind to attend my local rally but I also wanted to make an additional statement prior to April 15th, so I decided to send a respectful letter to President Obama and inform him that Socialism was not an option for the People of the United States. Along with the letter I enclosed a Mr. Boston Tea Bag. Well, this year I've decided to turn the practice into a tradition and do it again. Below is my letter along with an address.

Last year I sent you a tea bag expressing my displeasure with the direction which you have proposed that the United States should go. In my last letter to you I stated that The United States is not a socialist country, nor would I support your efforts to transform it into one.

After a year of studying your past associations, reading excerpts from your books, and looking at your lectures as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Illinois it is clear to me that you subscribe to a Marxist View of the world. This in it's own right may not be grounds for concern for in the America I've grown up in an individual has the right to whatever beliefs which they may hold. What is unfortunate is that you are now implementing these beliefs in your capacity as Chief Magistrate and President of The United States. your constant demonization of those who have worked hard to provide jobs and build the nation which we see around us, as well as your propensity to divide people along class and racial lines is a direct contradiction to the oath which you had taken to preserve and protect the great people(all of the people) of this unique and honorable nation.

For the reasons mentioned above I am once again sending you a tea bag. This is not a quasi-sexual reference to activities engaged in by males of a similar persuasion as suggested by many of your friends in and out of the press, but a historical statement originally made at Boston, Massachusetts by the forebears of our great nation when confronted with a non-responsive government.

I paid my taxes on February 1, 2010. You’re right though, if not you and I then who? Of course, I’m only going to piss my hard earned wages down the drain for so long.

I am going to our local tea party in Baltimore. I think everyone should have a camera and take pictures of people who are posing as supporters of the tea party but who are disrupters. . Some of them may be recognized as known anti tea party people.
