DOE's Search and Seizure

he feds are coming to inspect your home if you want to sell it, according to regulations buried in cap-and-trade legislation and standards decreed by the Secretary of Energy. But there are numerous legal difficulties inherent in DOE "inspections." Here are a few:

First, the regulations purportedly require homeowners to submit to a warrantless search of their property. The result of this inspection ("looking in") of their home would be to condemn real property (fixtures and things attached to the land are real estate in many states) and/or personal property.

With 300 acres to go with it, we could put a clause in the sales contract that the current dwelling does not meet current standards and so it is being offered as, and only as, a storage building, along with the other barns, garage, and outbuildings.

Of course, that would mean increasing the price per acre enough to compensate.

If the new owner were to choose to "store" his family, clothes, furniture, and appliances in it, it wouldn't be my problem. *<];-')

We must find a mission for DOE. What do they do? What have they done?

Socialism requires the need for the abolition of private property and the subjugation of the individual to the collective. This is just another mechanism to achieve that goal. The mortgage crisis was set up to discourage and make impossible the ownership of property under the pretense that they wanted to expand the property owning class when it was designed to do precisely the opposite. Unless we take over all media and education and proselytize the concept of individualism we are finished.

Well, it means nothing to the socialists and liberal-statist we have running the show now...

It still means something to us...Right???

I’ll still defend it...The oath I took is a lifelong committment...

If there are some who do not want to defend it, and lie in the oath they took for an elected office, then they can certainly be removed from doing things to damage or fundamentally change this country into something it cannot be...

It certainly makes it an easy decision for me...

Definitely a noble sentiment, and much to be admired, but... one gets the feeling one is swimmming against a tsunami. It isn’t just the socialists and the liberal-statist (read: Marxist) we have running the show; it’s about eighty percent of the American people too busy with their bread and circuses to care what’s happening around them.

Bingo...

I hold the people who voted for socialism just as responsible for the crap-shoot we are in now as the azzhats implementing these sovereignty and economy killing policies...
