While it was a trial to be her daughter growing up, my mother came to this country after WW II, surviving Nazi occupied France (Bayonne) and then a camp when the Frch commies accused her family of collaboration (her father interpreted for germans).
She was a staunch conservative because she KNEW tyranny - and was one of the first to be a fan of Ronald Reagan...
I think her greatest legacy was to educate her children to love freedom...looks like you will have the same legacy! Cheers!
most other European immigrants I know minus the Irish for some reason are more in tune with the republican partys agenda.
I would think that many hispanics would be too if the GOP actually talked about family, and social issues but of course the GOP lets the Dem party and the far left dictate what should be talked about through PC.
It’s amazing how some on the far left think that those who have come here from Europe would be voting Dem when infact we do not.
