Wonder if their class field trip will be to Detroit, to show them the joy of unions!

They say there are two kinds of rabbis, those who preach social justice and those who can read Hebrew. I suppose there are now two kinds of middle school teachers, those who preach social justice and those who can read.

You wonder why kids can barely read and know next to nothing.

From;

During his NAACP speech earlier this month, Sen. Obama repeated the term at least four times. “I’ve been working my entire adult life to help build an America where economic justice is being served,” he said at the group’s 99th annual convention in Cincinnati.

And as president, “we’ll ensure that economic justice is served,” he asserted. “That’s what this election is about.” Obama never spelled out the meaning of the term, but he didn’t have to. His audience knew what he meant, judging from its thumping approval.

It’s the rest of the public that remains in the dark, which is why we’re launching this special educational series.

“Economic justice” simply means punishing the successful and redistributing their wealth by government fiat. It’s a euphemism for socialism.

If someone works hard and saves money, is it social justice to take their money and give it to someone else who doesn’t work hard and save?

Yes.

I have a book somewhere called "Military Justice Is To Justice As Military Music Is To Music." Well, social justice is to justice as social engineering is to engineering.

Social Justice is the redistribution of wealth AND power (from the Haves to the Have-nots, according to the New Left)

Could you imagine the horror that would be had if a capitalist was going to go into middle schools to talk about what a great country we have and how with hard work, anyone can achieve the American dream?

I love how the lady said that “you just can’t make it on your own”....already setting the stage for relying on Uncle Obama and the rest of the gubmint monstrosity.

We can stop beating around the bush. The racist President is paying back America for any and all slights he feels he may have received or perceived because his mother had sex with a Kenyan and then had him.

If they could steal I.Q. points from one person and give them to someone else they would do it in the name of fairness and justice. I have seen public schools TRY to do this with things such as cooperative learning, redefining what “intelligence” means.

Wonder if their class field trip will be to Detroit, to show them the joy of unions!

Many years ago my class took a field trip to the Ford plant in Kansas City. Our tour started out with a "brief" from the union, explaining the benefits, and general praise for the union. Was a cool tour, I remember nothing about the union brief, even back then I was somewhat political savvy and could see through the crap.

You wonder why kids can barely read and know next to nothing.

They started a "rescue" reading program in my daughters' high school this year, because apparently so many of them can't read.

The teachers in every discipline (including math and science) choose "articles" for their class to read online and there are a series of questions or a simple project that goes along with each one. The girls have to complete so many of these assignments each semester.

Sounds harmless enough--improving reading scores is a laudable idea, right? However, as you might have guessed, it's nothing but a thinly disguised propaganda tool. 90% of the "articles" they are to read are screeds on global warming, the wonderful Obama, or the plight of illegal immigrants. They are poorly written opinion pieces, unsourced of course, and often state ideas as facts when they are not, i.e. "scientists agree that human activities are the cause of global warming".

I have blasted this program at every turn--I have a feeling that few parents know the extent of the propaganda their kids are being spoon fed...and unfortunately, living where we do, most of them probably buy into it themselves.

Maybe you should change your screen name to Mygirlsjailer or Mygirlstormentor or Mygirlsnurseratched.

The mainline Protestant church mouthpieces use the terms “social justice,” “economic justice,” “environmental justice,” “peace and social justice,” “environmental racism,” and the like about once per paragraph. In their case, they toss in the name of Jesus or Christ every other paragraph, tying the savior to their Marxist politics.

If you seek a closer relationship with Christ, or just want to better educate yourself about what the Bible claims and does not claim, one way to do so is to examine the Bible with this question in mind, namely, to what extent does either God or Christ take an interest in the civic arrangements of men? Of arrangements of class? Of social category? Look for verses where Christ or God prescribes an ordering of class with class, or category with category, or men with men.
