Good evening to you, Sir Conor. Being a dirty kneed gardener is a good thing :). We’re still having so much rain and today the wind was blowing it unmercifully!

We had a great day for spring gardening today - sunny and high in the low 70's - my Yellow Banksian Rose is one or two days short of erupting into bloom. My bleeding hearts are out - my azalea is popping out and my Irises are getting tall - all's right with the world!

Well, I undertook a task today that should of taken me an hour, and it took four...I decided that I was going to replace the front disc brakes on this little GMC pick-up truck I have...well, after many tools on the ground, skinned knuckles and a little profanity, I decided that it was the last time!
But other than that my Sunday was grand!

Hiya Ma.....I would be embarrassed to tell you how much rest I got this weekend...OOOps!;-}
I only did the bare minimum...laundry, kitchen duty & cooking.

Wow...life really is good at your house. At this point all I have even showing are poppies. My roses have no buds yet. The snow we had killed my carnations. However, I do have some weeds growing really well. :)

Doing great, thanks! My son just made cornbread, too! Not the chef, but one of my younger ones, It was quite good. You're watching the Pacific? You must be on vacation.

Most of my roses have barely broken leaf yet - the Yellow Banksian is a very early rose - thousands of tiny blooms in clusters - I will get a pic of it up in the next couple of days.

Look forward to seeing your rosees! I have a yellow one and
a purple one that have lots of buds. Really look forward to
seeing them bloom. Last year was so dry that they didn’t do
so well...but this year is cooler and I think they’ll do well.
